The Perfect Movie Night Hen-semble | Part 1: Air Fryer CHICKEN TENDERS!

Hello everyone, welcome or welcome back to my blog!

Last week I wanted to have a movie night with my family since a movie I had been waiting for (a Bollywood movie called Mimi) was coming out on Netflix. To make the movie night experience even better, I decided to make a chicken tenders recipe I saw on YouTube. Wanting to keep things healthy I made an air fryer version. I was really surprised by how easy it was to throw together, and how crispy the chicken turned out considering it was made in the air fryer! I also made some mac and cheese, air fryer fries, avocado dip and cranberry lemonade as sides. I’ll be posting those recipes next Friday. 😃

Let’s get started with today’s recipe!


  • 1 pack chicken breast tenders
  • 8-10 pieces of white bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • Vegetable oil
  • Seasoning salt
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Black pepper
  • Paprika
  • Sugar


  1. Line a baking sheet with the bread and bake for 10-15 mins at 250 degrees, or until it becomes lightly dried out. Let the bread cool first, and then blend into crumbs in a food processor. (I did this 2 pieces of bread at a time.)
  2. Season breadcrumbs generously with salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder. Add 2 tsp. of paprika and 1 tbsp. of sugar.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat 2 eggs.
  4. Time to start the breading process: One at a time, dip the chicken tenders in flour, egg and bread crumbs.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 250 degrees. I put 6-7 pieces in at a time for 11-13 minutes.
  6. All ready… serve with your favorite sides or dipping sauces and enjoy!
